We, the members of the 2009-2010 McKinney High School Royal Pride Band, are united as a family, through our commitment to each other and our goals.  By developing self-discipline, we will define our purpose as individuals in a positive environment.  We will maintain class and style through good sportsmanship and a sense of right and wrong.  We will have pride.

1. Maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude through effective time management.
2. Work at a state level throughout the year by staying focused.
3. Learn to recover from mistakes through self correction.
4. Improve musical performance through individual practice.
5. Become more involved on a personal and musical level within your band family.
6. Listen consistently by not talking during rehearsal.
7. Improve eligibility rates.
8. No tardies or absences.
