The McKinney High Band Boosters Organization exists to ensure that all students have a positive band experience. Boosters provide guidance, chaperones, refreshments and support to students and directors. All parents of current band students are automatically members of the Booster Organization.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the MHS Band Hall. All members are encouraged to attend to learn more about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities and fundraising events.

Fundraising sponsored by the Boosters is used to support band activities not funded by the district. These include scholarships for private lessons, fees for clinicians, musical instruments, instrument repairs, band camps, college scholarships, student social activities, and water and meals throughout the school year. Fundraising opportunities are also provided so that students can offset the expense of the annual band trip.

Volunteers are essential to the Band Boosters Organization. Please check this web site often for listings of current volunteer opportunities along with volunteer requirements and information.

Grocery Store Rebate Cards

Please remember to use the McKinney High School card when shopping at Kroger to receive rebates back to our program as well as linking your Albertson’s and Tom Thumb Rewards Card to the McKinney Band Booster rebate program. It will only take a few minutes and doesn’t cost you a cent. These grocery stores simply give about 1% of your purchase price back to our program.

FAQS

By linking my card to this program will someone be able to see what I purchased?

No – The boosters do not know who, what, when, where or why anything was purchased. The only thing the boosters receive is a check with a congratulations letter.

Can I have friends and relatives participate?

Absolutely! These Grocery stores will participate wherever they are found. You could have your relatives who live in other states link their cards to the McKinney HS Band Boosters.
