Congratulations to Kate Lutek and Ashley Salazar for being selected for the Texas 4A All-State Band!!!!
The 8th grade concert and party will be on February 19th. The concert starts at 7:00pm. All MHS students will be involved in this event! We will be hosting the 86 8th graders who are zoned to come to MHS next fall to a side-by-side concert and DJ party! This is a fun evening for the students as we welcome in our upcoming band members! If you would like to chaperon the dance, please contact me!!!
On February 27th we will be having our MHS Spaghetti Dinner. This is a dinner/concert held in the MHS cafeteria. It is our biggest fund-raiser for the MHS Band Boosters and we hope to have lots of people eating that night!!! Be sure to bring all your relatives and friends in town for a night of music and good food! Bands from Evans and Faubion middle schools, and the MHS bands will be performing while you eat! The menu will include salad, spaghetti, bread, and lots of desserts! Tickets will be on sale soon. If you do not want to eat, you may attend the concert for free.
In conjunction with the dinner, we will be having a silent auction. If you have anything to donate for the auction or know someone with a business who may be able to help, please let us know!!!
